The Towers Condominium Switchboard and AHU Replacement

Project Description

SAI is providing engineering design, bidding and construction administration services for the replacement of four air-handling units that service mutual recreation areas for this thirteen-story residential property with 620 units. In the course of this design, it was determined that the current electrical conditions of the buildings could not support the new mechanical units. This design has paused and SAI was asked to perform an electrical study which resulted in the need for electrical upgrades to support the new mechanical equipment. Current design efforts are underway for the replacement of the switchgear in both towers, after which design efforts will continue for the new AHU replacement.
